The perimeter of a rectangle is 50 inches. The length of a rectangle is 10 inches. Which method can be used to find w, the width of the rectangle

Answer:

50=2(10)+2(w)

Explanation:

The perimeter is all of the sides added together, so it is L+L+W+W

We know the length is 10, so we substitute 10 for L to get 10+10+W+W

2 tens is 2 times 10 & 2 Ws is 2 times W

50=2(10)+2(w)

In this case, w is 15
