1/3. slope = 1/3 = m

2. plug the values into the equation to find y-int. You can use whichever point is given to you

I'll use (6,3)

y = mx + b

3 = 1/3(6)+b

1/3(6)=2

3 = 2 + b

3. subtract 2 from both sides and you get b

b = 1

So, the equation of the line would be

y = 1/3x + 1
