first find 20% of 35$
35 x 0.2
7
then subtract that from the starting amount
35-7
28
then find 6% of that
28 x 0.06
1.68
subtract
28 - 1.68
26.32
there’s your answer! (if sales tax is applied to discounted price)
$26.32
