Simplify the expression
- (-x + y - 1)

When only multiplying by a negative you are basically just changing every sign. So a negative times a negative is positive and a positive times a negative is negative.

You should get (x-y+1)

All you need to do is to substitute the negative to the numbers inside parentheses.

Answer: x-y+1
