y=x-3

Explanation:

slope=4+2/-5-1=-1

perpendicular slope= negative reciprical=1

y=x+b

midpoint on perpendicular bisector= (-5+1/2, 4-2/2)=(-2,1)

substitution-2=1+b, b=-3

y=x-3
