A. 2s+s+1/2s+9=65
B. 3.5s+9=65
C. Subtract 9 from both sides to get: 3.5s=56 and then divide both sides by 3.5 to get s (the cost of the shirt) which is s=16
D. Shoes cost $32, shirt costs $16, and the sunglasses cost $8
