here are 12 crayons in a box. How many boxes will be needed for 8 children if each child gets 7 crayons?

5 boxes

Explanation:

multiply the crayons (7) by the number of children (8) to see how many crayons are need (56). Then dived that by how may crayons come in a box(12). that gives you 4.6 so round that up and your are left with the answer 5 . 5 boxes
