Answer: All real numbers are solutions

Explanation:

First, you would have to distribute which would be: (-4)(2x)+(-4)(9) which equals to:-8x+-36. Then we will Distribute for the other half of the equation:(-8)(x)+(-8)(3) which equals:-8x+-24

Plug that in to the equation: 12+-8x+-36=-8x+-24. Then, we will combine like terms: since -36 and 12 don’t have variables we’ll combine the because they’re like terms it will equal to: -8x-24+8x=-8x-24. And since -8x and -8x have the same variable we will combine them: -8x-24+8x=-8x-24+8x which will then equal to: -24=-24. Then we use inverse operation and add 24 on each side -24+24=-24+24 which will ultimately equals to 0=0 which means this equation has an infinite number of solutions

Answer:

All Real Numbers

Explanation:

Step 1:

12 - 4 ( 2x + 9 ) = - 8 ( x + 3 ) Equation

Step 2:

12 - 8x - 36 = - 8x - 24 Multiply

Step 3:

- 8x - 36 = - 8x - 36 Subtract 12 on both sides

Step 4:

- 36 = - 36 Add 8x on both sides

Answer:

All Real Numbers

Hope This Helps :)
