\tt{Hey~there!

\tt{8cx+5-4cx=19

\tt{Add~-5~to~both~sides:

\tt{4cx+5+-5=19+-5

\tt{4cx=14

\tt{Divide~both~sides~by~4c:

\tt{(4cx)/(4c)=(14)/(4c)

\boxed{\tt{x=(7)/(2c)}}

\tt{Hope~this~helps!

\boxed{\tt{-TestedHyperr}}

x=7/(2c)

1. Combine like terms and move constants to the right side
4cx=14

2. Divide both sides by 4c to isolate x
x=14/4c= 7/2c
