  • y=a(x+5)²+4

As there is no y inetercept present and the function is same as general quadratic equation y=x^2 just change in coordinates a=1

Final equation

  • y=(x+5)²+4

Use (4,-5)

  • -4=a(4-2)²-3
  • -1=a(2)²
  • 4a=-1
  • a=-1/4
