In the fall, you charge your neighbors $9 for going to their house to rake leaves, then $6 for every

hour you rake. If you make $51 one day, how many hours did you spend raking?

You spent 7 hours.

Explanation:

First add 9 and 6 together which is 15 and then you continue to add 6 until you reach 51. I added 6 to my sum 7 times .
