1. How did women like Johnson, Jackson, Vaughan and others break the gender

barriers? What were they able to accomplish and why? What other women and/or
movements in America did they inspire? How were there actions an impetus for
sweeping changes in employment and national culture?

1. They all broke the gender barriers by persecerving; not giving up, and taking control of what was right.

3. They inspired equality movements!

4. Their actions were an impetus for sweeping changes in employment and national cultures because they were influenctioal and made such great acheivments.
