Explanation:

If the 16ft is the sum for both sides already means the first length is 8ft and also the second length is 8ft. then since there are 32 ft more left, you divide it by two since there were two widths left, the values of the two widths are 16ft each. so the sum of the two widths is 32ft. and that's the final answer.

Perimeter=48


Using ~the ~formulas:


A=wl


P=2(l+w)


Solving ~for~A:


A=P(l)/(2) -l^2=48 ×
(16)/(2) -16^2=128ft^2
