Answer:

The central nervous system is the bodies decision maker, this nervous system allows people to talk, think, comprehend, remember, and move. The peripheral nervous system is responsible for gathering information and transmitting central nervous system decisions to other body parts, this nervous system contains all the nerves in the body that are found outside of the CNS, which includes: nerves of the hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk. The autonomic nervous system controls the glands and the muscles of internal organs. It controls body functions that do not require thought like heart rate, digestion, and perspiration. The somatic nervous system is a component of the peripheral nervous system that controls voluntary skeletal muscles, this allows for the movement of skeletal muscles. The sympathetic nervous system is the division of the autonomic nervous system that arouses the body, mobilizing its energy. It causes the pupils to dilate, heartbeat to increase, digestion to slow, and perspiration to increase. The parasympathetic nervous system calms the body, conserving its energy. It causes the pupils to contract, heartbeat to slow, blood pressure to decrease, and digestion to stimulate.

Hope this helps!
