Answer:

y=1/2x+2

Explanation:

The equation of a line is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.

First we find the slope. We can start by picking any point. Let's say (0,2). From this to get to the next point we have to rise 1 and go to the right two. This gives us a slope of 1/2 (slope=rise/run). Now that we have the slope, we can find the y-intercept. This is where the line intercepts the y axis. Therefore x would be 0. The point (0,2) is where the line intercepts the y axis, so the y intercept is 2.

Now that we have the slope and the intercept we can right the equation.

y=1/2x+2
