( - 35±√(35²-4*4*-9))/(2*4)

( - 35±37)/(8)

taking positive;

x=
( - 35+37)/(8)

(1)/(4)

taking negative

x=x=
( - 35-37)/(8)

x=-9

Therefore:the roots of 4+ 35x − 9 = 0 is
(1)/(4) or-9.
