x is greater than or equal to -3

Explanation:

-4 x - 10 ≤ 2

add 10 to both sides

-4x ≤ 12

divide both sides by negative 4 (when you divide by a negative number you also got to flip the sign).

x is greater than -3.

x ≥ -3

Move the constant to the right hand side and change its sign

Add the numbers

Divide both sides of the inequality by -4 and flip the inequality sign

(When I say > I mean the sign you used my phone doesn’t have it )
