Angle one and two lie on straight line.

this means there sum is equal to 180°

Given :-

  1. angle 1 = 7x
  2. angle 2 = x+12

so we can say :-

\angle1 + \angle2 = 180 \degree \\ 7x + x + 12 = 180 \\ 8x + 12 = 180 \\ 8x = 180 - 12 \\ 8x = 168 \\ x = \frac{ \cancel{168} {}^( \: \: 21) }{ \cancel8} \\ x = 21 \degree

so angle one = 7x= 7×21 = 147°

angle two = x+12 = 21+12 = 33°
