3. An optometrist has 50 patients that wear glasses, 100 patients that wear contacts, and 150 patients that do not need corrective eyewear. A spinner with 6 equal sections has 3 red sections, 2 green sections, and 1 blue section; it is used to simulate a random sample of 10 patients. After 10 spins, the results are red, blue, red, green, red, green, red, blue, red, green.

What do the results of the spinner represent in terms of patient eyewear? Explain your reasoning.

There are 5 red, 3 green, 2 blue.
There are a majority of people that do not need corrective eye wear. The second most is people that wear contacts, the least amount is patients that wear glasses.
So for every 10 people that come in, 5 of them will not need anything to correct their eyesight. For every 3 of 10 people that come in, they will wear contacts. And for every 2 of 10 people that come in, they will wear glasses
