First let's get the area of the first small rectangle to find the area of a rectangle you multiple length and width so 3 m x 2 m= 6 m
Rectangle two same formula
Length times width = 3 m times 3 m which is 9
And the last rectangle 9 m times 3 m is equal to 27 m
Now to find the area of the whole shape you add all of the above
So 9+27+6= 42 m
So the final answer is 42 m which is the area of the figure

Answer:

42 m^2

Explanation:

Equation: Area = LW

1. Largest rectangle

3(9) = 27

2. Smaller rectangle

3(3) = 9

3. Smallest rectangle

3(2) = 6

Total area = 27 + 9 + 6 = 42 m^2
