multiply both sides by 40; 40 x 40 cancels out; 40 x 5 = 200 we now have 200/8 = x; divide 200 by 8; x = 25

Answer:

25 lawns

Explanation:

To do this:

first create a ratio

5 L: 8 H

? L : 40 H

Then solve:

you can do this two ways

1. cross multiply

40*5=8?

200/8 = 25

2. divide

40/8 = 5

5*5 = 25

Hope this helps:)
