A virus is a piece of DNA or RNA wrapped up in a protein coat; it is not a cell. It hijacks other organism's

cells in order to replicate itself because it lacks the ability to reproduce by itself. Viruses can evolve,
however. An example of this is the rhinovirus, a virus that causes the common cold. According to our
