How is unused energy stored in plants?​

Answer: The unused energy is stored by plants in the form of starch, known better as carbohydrate. While animals use a glucose polymer to store the unused energy which is also called Glycogen. For long-term energy storage plants use nucleotide and animals use lipids to store the energy within them.
