Answer: 18 = m

Step-by-step explanation: Since m is being divided by 9, to get m by itself,

we multiply both sides of the equation by 9.

So
we
have
(9)(2) = ((m)/(9))(9).

On the right, the 9's cancel and on the left, (9)(2) is 18.

So 18 = m.

To check our answer, we plug 18 back in for m in the original equation

and we have
2 = ((18))/(9), which is a true statement, so our answer checks.
