The indulgence of the church of using money to pardon sins. The complete authority the Catholic Church held both politically and economically. They rejected the idea that Jesus Christ was only present in wine and bread. Reformers challenged the authority of the pope and the clergymen as well as challenging the church with scholarly debates instead of believing in the absolute truth of belief and faith
