I zoomed in and could read the paragraphs that I think show the answers. Part A: C Part B: D

Step-by-step explanation:

The whole thing is talking about how they are making a wish. They have a Paw and people are making wishes/decisions. Instead of Part B being the answer of B the answer is D because he closes by saying "that'll just do it" saying that it satisfies him. Then the story continues to the old man playing the piano.
