  1. Causation. The rainfall directly affects the lake level because both involve water. The more rainfall, the higher the water level in the lake. This is ignoring any interference by people (eg: draining the lake somehow or pumping in more water from another source).
  2. Causation. The electric bill is tied to how much electricity you use.
  3. Correlation. Temperature decrease doesn't directly lead to people just showing up to a particular place since there are other options and other factors. If x is the temperature and y is the attendance, then we have negative correlation (as x goes down, y goes up).
  4. Causation. Unless you have an electric car or hybrid, it will use gas.
  5. Correlation. There is a positive correlation between education level and salaries. Both go up together. Though there isn't a full guarantee that your degree will automatically get you a job, so this isn't causation. You need to have the right timing, skill, people skills, and a bit of luck to get the job you want. Often a company will train people to think/act a certain way to negate some of the stuff you learned in college. Of course it depends on the profession.
  6. The last problem is cut off so I can't answer this one.
