Write the equation of the scenario.

Tony's father is thinking of buying his son a six-month movie pass for $40. With the
pass, movies cost $3.00 each.

A y = 30+4x
B y = 40+ 3x
C y= 3 + 40x
D y=4 + 30x

So 40 is the flat cost. 40 is not dependent on the amount of movies so it would be the y intercept. Well that cancels out everything except B.
Each move is 3 dollars so for 1 movie it’s $43, for 2 it’s $46, etc.
That further makes B the right answer
