The British settlers of Jamestown, Virginia in 1607 are different than the settlers of Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620 because they

A.wanted to use the land to build a civilized society granting settlers governmental positions while the settlers in Plymouth were lookingfor adventure.
B.wanted to prove to the king they were able-bodied men who were fit for military service while the settlers in Plymouth wanted freedom from poverty.
C.hoped to make a profit for the Virginia Company, a joint-stock company, while the settlers in Plymouth wanted to use the land to build a kingdom.
D.were in search of instant riches so they could return home with glory while the settlers in Plymouth were separatists seeking religious freedom.
