A triangle has perimeter 37 cm

Two sides of the shapes are put
together to make a pentagon
A square has perimeter 56 cm.
What is the perimeter
of the pentagon?

The answer is 65
Take 56 and divide it by 4 since it’s a square and you’ll get 14. Subtract 14 from 37 because 14 is the bottom side of the triangle then you’ll have 23 left and that will be the other to side of the triangle. You’ll multiply 14 by 3 to get the square part of the pentagon and you get 42. Now 42+23 is 65
