Explanation:

  1. Look at the thousands place (the place to the direct right of the ten thousands place)
  2. If the number in the thousands place is 4 or under, we round down. If it is 5 or over, we round up.
  3. The number is 6 which is above 5, so we round up.
  4. The ten thousands place becomes a 6, and all of the other places become a 0.
  5. It should now look like this: 60,000
