1. Why was it a good idea to include all the races in the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring?

2. Based on the discussion in the unit and the information offered in the first half of the Fellowship of the Ring, what advantages do each of the races potentially offer in the accomplishments of the goal?

Answer: Think of it this way.....if they did not have the cultural diversity in the Fellowship, would they have the advantages over their main enemy? The Hobbits, Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and even the Wizards had all battled with their enemies. They came to find that there were bad within their cultures as well. This showed that there were good and bad Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves...that they were all capable of doing evil.

In addition to showing cultural differences of opinion of the quest, their differences gave them an advantage as a group based on their skills.

Step-by-step explanation:

I will not give you the answers to those skills of each of their fellowship members but you need to list those skills and traits next. You should investigate by watching the film and listing those traits of each of the Fellowship members next.

Answer:

Although some may say it was a bad idea or a dumb idea to include all the races in the formation of the Fellowship, I believe it was a good including them all. The Elf King, Gandalf, and Frodo were then able to make sure everyone knew what they were trying to accomplish. Their goal was to destroy the One Ring, so Saruman couldn’t get his hands on it and take over all of the lands. Every race included in the Fellowship had their own advantages to potentially offer.
