so now,

m/9 = -2/3 + 7/3

now lets use the inverse operation of division to multiply 9 to separate it from the variable

9(m = -2/3 + 7/3)9

m = -18/3 + 63/3

which can be simplified to,

m = -6 + 21

so,

m = 15.
