Use J’ if ending with vowel and “Je” when you are meaning as “I”

Answer:

When using 'Je' in french, whenever it's places next to a word that starts with a vowel, you conjugate/make smaller. And that's when just 'J' is used.

For example:

This is correct.. J'aime aider.

Though this is incorrect...Je aime aider

Summary:

You use the just the letter 'j' in french, when the next word over starts with a vowel.

( a, e, i, o, u, y )
