Each day a person is exposed to many different things that can shape the way they feel or view themselves. Sometimes this exposure may pressure a person to develop an ideal body weight to fit an image according to societal norms. In reality, there is no ideal body weight but there is a healthy weight.

In one paragraph, explain how technology has influenced the perception of body image and weight management in both negative and positive ways. Use supporting details in the form of facts, statistics, and examples. In another paragraph, describe an individual healthy weight-management plan. The plan should include specific details about goals, diet, exercise, and evaluative monitoring.

Technology has impacted us in many ways. One way is by changing the way we view ourselves, more specifically our bodies. We have created an ideal body type that is impossible to actually achieve. How did we do this? Photoshop and different photo angles. Many people create body goals and end up making themselves incredibly sick. Though there are many negatives, there are always positives. This includes Body Positivity! This is used to make each other feel good about their bodies. This shows that no matter your body type and weight, you are still beautiful. However, many people still believe that this is just and only for those of the plus sized community. So, they end up skinny shaming thin men and women who use #BodyPositivity. However, the same can be said for plus sized men and women.

An individual Healthy Weight-Management plan is a great way to help. This is specific to you and you body. The Management plan will help an individual lose, gain, or maintain a certain weight. It can help you figure out which workouts to do, what to eat, when to eat, and how much you should eat. Many times a person will go on a diet and lose weight, however once they go off the diet they gain the weight back! The Individual Healthy Weight Management Plan will prevent that from happening. How is that possible? Well, this isn't a diet that you will do for a month or so, this is a lifestyle. A lifestyle that creates long-term results rather than the short-term results that a diet provides.
