What is the value of x when 5x=6.5?

Answer: 1.3

Explanation:
5x=6.5
5x/5=6.5/5
x=1.3


We have to get X alone but to do that we had to cancel 5 and bring to the other side. So we did the opposite from what it said to do so instead and 5*x we divided. But we cannot just do that on one side so we had to do it on the other which ended us of with x=1.3
