16+2(5m-8)-m=36
First solve 2(5m-8)
2x5m= 10m 2x(-8)= -16
Now it looks like this
16+10m-16-m=36
Cancel 16 with the -16
10m-m=36
Now here its pretty obvious
9m=36
To find m divide 9 by 36
36:9=4
m=4
