What is the coefficient in the expression 8x + 10

The coefficient in the expression “8x+10” would be 8. If I’m correct, the coefficient is pretty much the number placed before a variable. Like 10x or 4x. It would be the number paired with it. If that makes sense? So your answer would be 8. I hope this helped! :)
