are you trying to solve for c? because if you are:

5(2c - 1) = 2 (c + 11)

- first we distribute both sides

10c - 5 = 2c + 22

- now we combine like terms

8c - 5 = 22

- do the inverse operation of 5

8c - 5 = 22
+ 5 +5
——————
8c = 27

now you do the inverse operation of 8

8c = 27
— —
8 8
__________
c = 3.375
