= [ 3^2 * 3^2 * 3^2 ] ^ 2

= 3^2 * 3^2 * 3^2 * 3^2 * 3^2 * 3^2

And we can apply the rule, when you are multiply powers of like bases you add the exponents. Hence:

3 ^ (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2)

= 3^12
