To write the equation in standard form

⇒ must know the standard form:

⇒ Ax + By = C

⇒ essentially move all the variables to one side and constant to

the other

Let's solve:

y = 3x + 4\\-3x+y=4

Standard form:
-3x+y=4

Answer:
-3x+y=4

Hope that helps!
