It helps to ensure equal access to education, eliminate analphabetism among women and enhance women's access to vocational training, research, technology, and continuing education, according to UNESCO (2010).
Non-formal schooling relates to instruction that takes place outside of the traditional educational system. It is often used identically with concepts such as adult education, community education, and lifelong learning.
This diversity of non-formal education strategies means that learners develop cognitive, social, and practical skills and competencies, allows to recognize and support their intuition, and also builds confidence in their individual learning process.
