1. Real World. You are working at Fast Buy Mart, a gas station/store that is part of the Grolo family of businesses. There is a pandemic going on and the government has advised everyone in public to wear a mask (you will really have to stretch your imagination on this one :P ). You hear raised voices and upon investigation find two customers arguing. One is wearing a mask and the other is not. You don’t know how the discourse started but at this point it seems to have degenerated into the non-mask wearer making sheep noises while the mask wearer is giving them the peace sign but using one less finger than is normally used for the gesture. In two or more paragraphs explain what you would do as a Fast Buy employee to defuse the situation. Please note, you are NOT being asked to rule on the importance of masks or to set corporate policy. Your goal is to understand both perspectives and find a way to calm the parties down. If you simply throw one of them out you will not receive full credit.

kindly go up to both of the customers and ask them what’s wrong. Then let one of them say their side of the story first, then ask the next to speak their side of the story when the other is finished. Then i would see who’s in the wrong, but also offer the customer that is not wearing a mask to wear one, then if they decide to not listen and just brush aside of them not wearing a mask, i would then start stating how dangerous and serious this pandemic is and how not only this customer is in danger, but many people as well.
