The cons first
1) Hate to travel during monsoon for obvious reasons. Vehicles break down, Jams, public transport in disarray , flooded roads etc
2) Get delayed to work on important occasions
3) We have all seen Monsoon fury during the deluge in 2005 and the Tsunami and now Uttarakhand
4) Its all rosy when you look at rains from insides of the house but we get worried when our children are stuck some where due to heavy rains
5) Buildings crumble and fall and cause damages to life.
The Pros:
1) Its lovely to look out of the window admiring the rains and consuming chai and hot bhajias or rather couple ( as in multiples of two ) of nice stiff white rum with peanuts ( chamdiwala)
2) Rains are the best days for a hot romantic fresh date. Sabko hai pata…))
3) Monsoon treks are to die for and also water fall rappelling whilst its raining is absolute bliss.
4) Monsoon picnics always results in some great memories to cherish
5) Romanticism is at its peak during monsoon…))
