Chapter 6 of The Call of the Wild focuses on the relationship forged between men and dogs. Develop a research question about the different kinds of ways humans and dogs interact. Think about jobs dogs have, and the roles dogs have played in humans' lives. Pick a job or role and think of something you would like to learn about it. Use credible Internet or print sources to answer your question. Write a full paragraph description of your findings, including your research question. Your response should be no less than 150 words in length,

Answer:

What is an emotional support dog? Emotional support dogs (ESA: emotional support animals) are dogs that help people with emotional disorders, such as anxiety and/or depression. An emotional support dog has a very important role. An ESA’s role is to provide their owner with companionship, which can help with loneliness and other emotional distress he or she may feel throughout their day. Emotional support dogs are different from service dogs. “A service dog, such as a guide dog, is generally allowed anywhere the public is allowed; ESAs are not.” The main difference between the two is a service dog is trained to do specific tasks where as an ESA do task but the task are considered a normal response for a dog. Though emotional support dogs are not trained, they respond to their owners with compassion and love which is the only job they need to do. ESA help many people and should not be abused.

Answer:

The different ways that humans and dogs interact has quite a lengthy list, for humans and dogs can interact in many ways same with the jobs and the roles dogs have and play in humans lives. One job or role I would like to learn about would most likely be how some dogs and owners can communicate with one another. In the text that I am using it says that dogs have different ways of moving or acting when they want certain things (for example) A dogs tail will go down when they are scared or upset. A dog may act playful or excited when they have to use the bathroom or when they want attention. Knowing this helps humans interact with them by either giving them attention or letting them out to go to the bathroom. Like this there are many other signs a dog gives when they feel certain things. And based on what a human see's the dog doing they adjust.
