Answer:

8 14/15

Explanation:

Make them improper,

2 1/3 = 7/3, 6 3/5 = 33/5

(7)/(3) +(33)/(5) now make the denomenaters equal, multiplying the first fraction by 5, and the second by 3

(7)/(3) *(5)/(5) =35/15

(33)/(5) *(3)/(3) =99/15

(35)/(15) +(99)/(15) =(134)/(15)

now make the improper fraction mixed, and that would be 8 14/15

Explanation:

2 1/3 + 6 3/5

= [6/3 + 1/3] + [30/5 + 3/5]

= [7/3] + [33/5]

= 35/15 + 99/15

= 134/15
