A political map focuses on borders and such while a physical map provides on landscapes and mountains and such

a political map focues on boundaries between entities , like countries , states or counties . they are generally brighter colours to easily distinguish the boundaries , a physical map focues on the geography of the area and will often have shaded relief to show the mountains and valleys
