Let b represent the hours Liz spends babysitting. Let t represent the number of hours she spends tutoring. Given that Liz can work at most 12 hours per week, write an inequality that models the number of hours she spends babysitting and tutoring in a week.

Answer:

b+t < 12 (< has a line under it)

Explanation:

Liz can work at most 12 hours per week. So, add the number of hours she spends babysitting, b, and the number of hours she spends tutoring, t, in a week, and represent the sum as less than or equal to 12:

b + t < 12

Also I just got done doing this problem my self

So if b is hours for babysitting, and t is for tutoring she works 12 hours so it would be 12=b+t
