30 POINTS PLEASE HELP THIS IS DUE TMRRRR

Jane and Tony were given the following expression: -2 (3x - y)^2. Jane translated it to say" the product of -2 and the difference
between three times a number and a number squared". Tony translated it to say "-2 times the difference of three times a number and the
square of a different number".
1. Whose translation is correct?

i think tony is corrected because jane said “product of -2” which means answer to a multiple problem
