Gender Roles! Gender roles can be harmful to the lgbtq community which means it’s not true equality. Gender roles are the reason why lgbtq people are not seen as good parents, because of the stereotype that there has to be a father and a mother to have a stable family. It also contributes to toxic masculinity, saying men have to do this or that in order to be “real men” is toxic and harmful towards anyone who identifies as a man. Gender roles should be more open and diverse as the world is changing every day
